The perks of living in Italy

One of the very best things about living in this part of Italy is that at the weekend, particularly in the summer, all you need to do is take the car (or even better, the vespa) for a 10-15 minute drive and you can stop for a coffee/icecream/beer/other (delete-as-appropriate) in one of the most stunning places on Earth. Today, we stopped for a walk in Vietri sul Mare, just ten minutes from my flat be car and the “first pearl of the Amalfi Coast”.

It makes you feel like you are on holiday. Every single weekend. Image

    1. It is wonderful, but I often think that God made it that way to make up for the crap you have to put up with living here! eveywhere has its pros and cons. What about where you live?

Let’s just say we travel as much as we possible can, most often to Europe, so we can experience culture and beautiful scenery.

        1. Everywhere is beautiful in its own way…Travelling is the best way to enlarge the horizons.

  3. I just returned from Italy a bit over a week ago. My first trip ( not my last !). The reasons for my visit were much more than “vacation” but I did get to see Matera and Naples. I had really hoped to get to Sorrento +/or Pompeii but time ran out. Thank you for posting such beautiful photos of that area, it gives me something to look forward to for the next trip.

    1. I only just saw this, how embarrassing! I hope you enjoyed your trip 🙂
